We thank Thee, God, for sunshine,
We thank Thee for the rain,
We thank Thee for the harvest
Of fruit and golden grain.

We thank Thee for Thy blessings-
The things of ev'ry day,
For home, and love, and watchcare,
And guidance on our way.

We thank Thee for the beauties
Thou hast around us spread;
For trees and grass and song birds,
And sunsets, crimson red.

We thank Thee for our country,
For freedom, strength and might;
A land of "peace and plenty,"
Upholding truth and right.

Thank Thee for our country's God,
In Him we put our trust;
A bulwark, strong and mighty,
As merciful as just.
